Who can participate
- Any South African secondary school may enter one or more teams.
- Team members must be in grades 8 - 12 to be eligible to participate (it is recommended that learners in grades 8 and 9 participate in the income game).

Prizes
Each month the best performing teams and schools in each portfolio will win R500 per
team member, R500 for the principal and R500 for the supervising teacher. Note that
mentors (catalyst teachers) will not be eligible for the monthly prize and only the appointed
supervising teacher from the school will be eligible. In addition, teams are only eligible for
a maximum of two monthly prizes for the duration of the JSE Investment Challenge.
There are also five overall annual cash prizes per portfolio up for grabs, amounting to
R80 000 per portfolio! The prizes are structured as follows:

Any team or team member will only be eligible for one annual prize. All prizes must be
claimed within 30 (thirty) days of being awarded. NB: The JSE’s decision on any and all
prizes will be finalfinal, and no correspondence will be entered into.
